  23. You may freely distribute the AIT202.ZIP Archive but NOT any User or
  24. Registation Key information that you have been provided with, the only

  34.     The program is written for, and tested under Windows 95.
  35.             It WILL NOT RUN under Windows 3.x

  38. 3. Purpose :
  39.  
  40. AuditionIT! simplifies the Auditioning of sample Files in Wave Format (.WAV).
  41.  
  42. It automatically queues up the wave files it finds, either as
  43. you change directories, through its recursive search functions, or
  44. through drag and drop from Windows Explorer (inc. CDRoms and Network).
  45.  
  46. You can then sit back and listen to the files play sequentially,
  47. picking the ones you like or are suitable for the project you are
  48. working on, skipping the rubbish and selecting anything interesting
  49. by simply pressing the space bar.
  50.  
  51. When you have listened through, you can then recheck your selection,
  52. for example putting them in loop mode to see how much work you may have
  53. to do to get the loop right, check the BPM value of the file, or change
  54. its format, sampling rate or bit rate to suit (single and batch
  55. processing)
  56.  
  57. When you have selected the files you want, copy them from their source
  58. to a single directory so you know where they are when you need them.
  59.  
  60. You may also adjust the level of files using the New Volume Workshop in
  61. order to "balance" different output levels of files for your project
  62.

  65. 4. Installation Instructions :
  66.  
  67. IMPORTANT:
  68. If you have a previous installation of AuditionIT!, it is recommended that
  69. you remove it prior to installing this version. To do this use the "ADD/REMOVE
  70. Programs" Dialog in Control Panel.
  71.  
  72. To install, decompress the archive to a temporary directory
  73. and use the "Install/Remove Programs" Dialog in Control
  74. Panel to start SETUP.EXE in this temporary directory.
